My husband got this in an e-mail and thinks I should do this for Thanksgiving dinner:



I don't think so.

It is a part of my job to clean the office where I work on the weekend. While I'm there I also file and stock the place so that the first day back after the weekend gets off to a smooth start. You see, I have a plan. We are usually closed on Monday so Tuesday morning can be rough. If your first day of the work-week is Tuesday it seems to follow that the dreaded "MONDAY" will get you on Tuesday. You cannot escape "MONDAY". The actual day of the week written on the calendar is immaterial. I've seen "MONDAY" strike on Friday. It ain't pretty.

So today I set myself and my co-workers up as best I could, and we are ready to go!

If "MONDAY" rears it's ugly head we can prevail! Bring it on!! I laugh in your face "MONDAY"! Ha-Ha!

I may have just angered the gods.

Well hello!  Yep, it's my first post.  Second attempt at it too.  I think there should be a Fisher Price logo by that message title.  Maybe some training wheels on the computer desk...    If it looks like I don't know what I'm doin' there is a good reason for that.  I don't know what I'm doin'.  But I have a teenager in the house chomping at the bit to help Momma out.  Bless her heart.

I've been following several blogs on Blogstream for a while.  My boss-ling calls me a "lurker".  Sounds a lot like "stalker" to me.  But I'm harmless.  I promise.  Although there are those in my life who would disagree....  Any-hoo, it's been a real trip getting to "know" other people.  Some of you have touched my heart.  Some of you have made me laugh.  And I've learned a bit from almost every blog I've read.  The surprise of it is what I learned about myself from just reading ya'll!  And that's a good thing, right?
